Function and description: this socket has got 2 conductors, each one insulated from the other when the socket is not mated. Each of these conductors is accessible at the end of the socket thanks to 2 male Faston terminals. Conductors are mated when a Ø4mm male plug is connected to the socket. Then, the male plug and the 2 conductors of the socket are set at the same potential. |
